How We Met

Rocio and Oscar were brought together through mutual friends. Early days of parties, dates, school work and coffee runs was the foundation to a loving relationship.

Moments

Memorable moments experienced through our relationship have been the cornerstone of who we've become as a couple and as individuals. Key moments included seeing each other go through college and walk at graduation becoming the first people in our respective families to graduate from a university. Seeing each other begin our careers and continue to pursue our goals has brought out the best of us.

Throughout their years together, Rocio has brought Oscar out of his comfort zone. Trying to teach him how to dance, trying new things and visiting places has been something Oscar wouldn't have experienced without her and he is appreciative of her for this. In turn, Oscar has always been supportive and encouraged Rocio to pursue all her goals. Through this support and encouragement, Rocio confidently completed her Bachelor's degree and is now well on her way to receiving her Master's in counseling. As a balanced couple, Rocio and Oscar have formed a loving partnership where they support and love each other through each phase of their lives.

The Engagement

Rocio and Oscar were celebrating their anniversary in San Francisco where they had dinner plans at a steakhouse. As they were getting to the city, Oscar asked Rocio if she wanted to go to Mt. Davidson, to see the view of the city. Coincidentally, Mt. Davidson was a place they visited on one of their first dates in their relationship. Although wearing heels, Rocio said yes and off they went. Although it was strange to go to Mt. Davidson, Rocio was not suspicious of the proposal happening and had no indication of what was going to happen next.The path to the top of Mt. Davidson was muddy, but even with the mud and Rocio in heels - this did not stop them from making the short hike to the top. Once at the top, Oscar got down on one knee and proposed. She said Yes! In a moment where time seemed to stand still, we embraced each other and cherished the moment signifying a new chapter in our lives.

Our Wedding Date

Our wedding date is set for June 21st, 2025. We look forward to celebrating our love and our story on this day with all our close friends and families.
